Interpol Red Notice Suspended — CCF Challenge Successful

A Red Notice issued against our client at the request of Romania — based on allegations our client strenuously disputed — was causing severe disruption to his personal and professional life. The Red Notice and its impact

The Red Notice had been issued by Romania in connection with alleged offences which our client denied. CCF suspension request

The CCF, satisfied that a prima facie case had been made, ordered the temporary suspension of the notice's effects pending its full review of the matter.

Outcome

The Red Notice was suspended. Our client recovered his freedom of movement and was able to continue his professional activities while the CCF conducts its full review. The review is expected to result in the permanent deletion of the notice.
