Attorney Ugo Russo (born 1997) graduated in 2021 from the University of Salerno with the highest marks and an academic distinction commendation, defending a thesis in Criminal Procedure.
In the same year he began collaborating with the Chair of Comparative Criminal Procedure, delivering lectures and seminars that deepened his comparative study of common law and civil law systems, developing internationally oriented competencies. Concurrently, he served his pupillage at leading criminal law firms across the Campania region, refining his technical skills and building solid experience in criminal defence.
In 2023, having passed the bar examination, he was admitted to the Bar of Salerno. Driven by a strong passion for criminal law and eager to develop new expertise, in 2025 he completed a Second-Level University Master's (LLM equivalent) in Corporate Criminal Law at the Luiss School of Law, with a thesis on the liability of the Supervisory Body (Organismo di Vigilanza) in corporate settings. During this programme he developed specialist competencies in cybercrime, blockchain, financial, fiscal and tax offences and white-collar crime more broadly, including attending lectures on cybercrime and blockchain by Professor Giuseppe Italiano.
Since 2024 he has been actively collaborating with the Avvocato H24 Law Firm, providing legal assistance with a specific focus on online fraud, combining his deep criminal law training with technical expertise in the digital and financial sectors.
