Avv. Bernardo Brancaccio

Attorney Bernardo Brancaccio, qualified to appear before the Superior Courts, is one of the most prominent and respected criminal defence lawyers in the Naples area. As long-standing President of the Criminal Bar (Camera Penale) of Torre Annunziata, he has comprehensive professional experience, having taken part in the most significant trials involving organised crime, common criminal law and offences against the public administration by so-called 'white-collar' defendants.

He is currently President of the Rotary Club of Pompei, an affiliate of Rotary International, one of the world's most prestigious organisations dedicated to solidarity, peace and friendship among peoples.

He has also held notable public office, serving multiple terms as Mayor of a municipality in the Vesuvius area, as a member of the Naples provincial council and as Vice-President of a major Naples public health authority (ASL).

Evidence of his training in administrative matters, he obtained — after his law degree — a Master's in land planning and management from FOR MEZ in Naples, and subsequently specialised in the 1980s at the Politecnico di Milano.

In that capacity he served as a member of the Regional Technical Committee for the assessment of municipal master plans and as secretary of the legal section of the Technical-Scientific Advisory Committee, a high-level consultative body of the Campania Region.

Throughout his long career he has participated — including as a speaker — in the most important scientific conferences on criminal law and criminal procedure.

He currently teaches criminal law subjects at the legal training school of the Bar of Torre Annunziata.

He has served as an examiner on the panel for the bar admission examination at the Naples Court of Appeal.
